Mission Statement: Bay Marine Service provides our associates the respect, work environment, empowerment and training, to enhance the customer's service experience to a level beyond their expectations.

Bay Marine Service was established by Michael Groff and Bobby Sheets in 2005. In March of 2007 we rented a shop at Stansbury Yacht Basin in the Middle River area and operated there for a year. In 2008 we purchased Iman’s Boat Yard and began renovations to build Bay Marine Boating Center. 

Michael Groff (President) manages the day to day operations of the business. He has twenty years experience in fixed operations and has an M.B.A. from Lebanon Valley College. 

Bobby Sheets (Vice President) is a Mercury/Mercruiser Certified technician with 40 years of mechanical experience. Bobby manages all technicians and is in charge of quality control.  He is also a licensed captain in the Merchant Marine. 

James Iman is our carpentry and fiber glass expert. He has a lifetime of experience in the marine industry and is the former owner of the yard. His skills in all aspects of boat building are exceptional. 

John Parson heads up the mobile detailing crew. He handles weekly and bi-weekly wash contracts and all boat detailing, interior and exterior. John has an exceptional eye for detail and works very closely with his clients.
